April Trip

A couple of weeks after Drew came home from his mission; we were once again little love birds and wanted to spend every second together. Our first plans were to go to BYU- Idaho together for the winter semester. Something else that we wanted to do was go see a NBA game together. Drew’s team is the Lakers and Terese’s team is the Suns. We looked up the Utah Jazz’s season schedule to see if we could catch a game of one of our teams, but we had no luck because of our scheduling possibilities. We realized that after school got out we would be able to see the Nuggets play the Jazz which we were way excited about because the Nuggets are our 2nd favorite team!

So April arrived and we went to Utah for the weekend to see our Nuggets whoop up on the Jazz!!! Actually the Jazz won….but it was still a very fun and exciting game. Allen Iverson and J.R Smith were great and put on a show for the Nuggets fans.

We stayed in Pleasant Grove at Terese’s sister’s house and had a great time. Drew had the idea of inviting his district from the MTC to do a get together at Tucanos in Provo. Tucanos is a really amazing restaurant which serves a Brazilian styled BBQ!!! Drew loves that kind of stuff!! Dinner consisted of laughs, stories, bigger laughs, and more stories. Oh yes, and a lot of Brazilian BBQ!!!

Also, before the NBA Game, we toured Temple Square and had a great time seeing the wonderful things presented at the lovely church site. We saw the movie now playing in Legacy Theatre, Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration.
